Musician Justin Timberlake faces accusations of driving under the influence in the Hamptons.

Music icon Justin Timberlake was accused by authorities of ignoring a stop sign and veering out of his lane in the upscale beachfront summer escape of Sag Harbor,

N.Y. was arrested on DUI charges in a Hamptons village Tuesday morning.

Around 12:30 AM, the former boy, band member, now pursuing his own music and acting career, was pulled over by a police, officer in Sag Harbor while driving a 2025 BMW.

It was discovered that he was intoxicated, as per a court record.

‘He had bloodshot, glassy eyes, his breath had a strong alcohol stench, he was unable to focus, his speech had slowed,

he was unsteady when moving, and he did poorly on all of these things.’ standardized field sobriety tests, according to the court filings.

After being arraigned in Sag Harbor, Timberlake, 43, was later released without posting bail on Tuesday morning.

His next court date was set for July 26, according to the Suffolk County district attorney’s office, and he was charged with a DWI misdemeanor.

The Associated Press made inquiries for comment to Timberlake’s attorneys and reps, but they did not respond right away.

When Timberlake was younger, he performed as a Disney Mouseketeer, sharing the stage with Britney Spears, who would later become his girlfriend.

He first gained recognition as a member of the massive boy band NSYNC. In 2002, he started a solo music career, and in the early 2000s,
he was one of the most significant personalities in pop.

With a mastery of pop and R&B styles, he has received ten Grammy awards for his songs including ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling,’

Some lifelong locals have expressed dissatisfaction with traffic, crowds, and a shifting character due to its changing nature.
