Flavour N’abania recalls being asked to leave the stage with P-Square.

Famed for his high-life crooning, Flavour N’abania, Chinedu Okoli, a Nigerian singer, has related a story of being asked to step off the stage with P-Square.

During an appearance on the podcast “In My Opinion,” Flavour revealed the details.

In his own words, he started out in music as a church drummer and choir leader.

Nevertheless, his career took a drastic change after he met P-Square.

There was a time when P-square released their song ‘Temptation,’ and I recall that day,’ he recalled. In Enugu’s City Centre, they were marketing a show, and the promoters took them there.

Every weekend, everyone was there, so I had already gained followers with that location. Regardless of what happening in Enugu, there was usually a crowd at my position.

‘Well, P-Square arrived right away while I was performing thanks to the promoters; the manager simply said, ‘Hello, off that thing.’

‘I turned off, handed the microphone back, and took a seat. Then, Paul of P-square took the mic and declared, ‘This ain’t no temptation,’ scattering his words all over the place.

After first separating in 2017 to pursue independent careers, Peter and Paul were members of the now-defunct P-Square group.


Though their reconciliation was brief, the brothers got back together in November 2021.

Enugu is where Flavour, who is well-known for his Igbo singing fluency, was born.

At the age of 13, he started his musical career by playing drums for his church choir.

(2005) Flavour via Obaino Music, he published his debut album, “N’abania.”

He has eight albums out since then. Awele (2018), Ijele The Traveler (2017), African Royalty (2014), Flavor of Africa (2020), and Thankful are some of the projects.

‘Blessed’ (2012), ‘Uplifted’ (2010), and ‘N’abania’ (2005) are a few more.

In the music sector as well, Flavour has made a name for himself.
