Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has appointed his daughter, Helen Eno, as First Lady.

Following his wife Patience’s death, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno returned to work. Eno characterized Patience as a crucial collaborator in carrying out the government’s policies and initiatives in line with the administration’s ‘Viztadaily‘ plan.

He emphasized the significance of the first lady’s office, saying that the weight of the enormous duties of the position his wife had left empty had grown too great to be disregarded.

In order to assume the role of first lady and oversee the office’s operations, he named her first daughter, Mrs. Helen Eno Obereki.

Eno pledged to uphold the principles of social empowerment for the extremely poor and the underprivileged in a radio and television broadcast on Friday.

In response, the president’s spouse remembered that Governor Eno was a key player in the execution of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and offered her condolences to the governor and the people of the state, along with a prayer for her soul to rest.

In order to ensure that the office’s tasks are implemented effectively and in sync with the national office, she gave her word that her office will work closely with the daughter.
