Contrary to popular belief, afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has stated that he hails from a polite household; I come from a family that values respect.
He clarified that his sporadic transgressions as a famous person do not indicate that he was not raised well.
Davido made these remarks on Saturday when paying a courtesy call on the Olu of Warri, Delta State.
‘I had excellent parents who raised me. I’m from a very polite family, but as OBO [star], I might act inappropriately sometimes,’ he said.
According to Viztadaily Post, Wizkid recently disparaged Davido’s family, saying that the ‘OBO’ crooner wasn’t reared properly.

Making reference to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, who is referred to as the ‘Dancing Governor’ due to his many internet demonstrating dancing videos.
