Rev. Father Gabriel Ukeh, the catholic priest of St. Thomas Parish in the Zaman Dabo Community, in Kaduna State’s Zango Kataf Local Government Area, has been kidnapped by bandits.
Early on Sunday morning, there were rumors that the Catholic priest had been kidnapped from the church rectory.
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kazah, the Vicar General (Pastoral), revealed this on Sunday in a press release that PUNCH Online was able to get.

As we approach the commemoration of Sallah, he said, ‘We call upon the federal authorities to horn its security intelligence, while we solicit fervent prayers for his urgent and safe release, we equally condemn this act of incessant kidnappings for ransom of innocent and defenseless citizens of our their neighborhoods.’
‘We would want to urge everyone to refrain from grabbing the law into their own hands as we collaborate with security personnel to secure his swift release. Fr. has to return to us safely, and we will do all within our power to make that happen.
‘May the crucified Jesus attend to our prayers and expedite the unconditional release of His Priest and every other kidnapped person via the intercessions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Priests and Religious.’
Public Relations Officer for Kaduna State, ASP Mansir Hassan, responded to a message by saying, ‘I will confirm and get back to you.’
