A disciplinary panel will hear the case of EFCC staff accused of assaulting a woman. In order to look into allegations of violence, against a woman made by two agents during a raid on a hotel in Lagos on Thursday,
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has established a disciplinary panel.
In a statement released on Monday in Abuja, the organization’s spokesman, Dele Oyewale, stated that the errant officers were scheduled to appear before the panel on the same day.

The disciplinary team was established by EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, according to Oyewale, to investigate the allegations, of two commission officers who went AWOL and reportedly abused a female employee of the Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.
Prior to this, the officers were seen abusing the hotel staff in a widely shared video. Thursday morning sting operation.
‘The two officers have been placed under arrest by Olukoyede, who has also instructed them to appear before a joint disciplinary team that includes the Department of Ethics and Integrity,
the Appointment, Promotion and Disciplinary Committee, and the APDC. ‘On Monday, July 1st, at the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, they are scheduled to appear before the Team.
He declared, ‘The team would investigate the officers’ case and suggest appropriate disciplinary actions to be taken against them.’
He asserted that Olukoyede will stop at nothing to hold the officers accountable for their unprofessional behavior.
