The proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) has been prohibited from holding any unlawful gatherings, including its planned Ashura march, according to the Police Command in Kaduna State.

In a statement released on Sunday in Kaduna, the command’s spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, declared the prohibition.

“Every form of illegal protest in the state has been banned,” declared Hassan.
