At 7:00 am on Sunday, August 4, 2024, President Bola Tinubu will make a national address via broadcast.
Under the subject line ‘President Tinubu to address the nation,’ a message was made public on Saturday.
This was revealed by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Personal Advisor on Communications and Publicity.

In preparation for the broadcast, he pleaded with radio, television,
and other electronic media outlets to join the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and the Nigerian Television Authority’s network services.
Additionally, the announcement stated, ‘The broadcast will be repeated on the NTA and FRCN network services at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.’
In Lagos, Oyo, Abuja, and other states, protesters have not stopped taking to the streets,
demanding among other things the reversal of Removal of gasoline subsidies and the nation’s rapidly rising costs for goods and services.
But thugs in Kano and other northern areas have been robbing items from the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria rally,
and the police are pursuing the offenders in an attempt to retrieve some of the stolen goods.
