One half of the well-known Nigerian musical duo P-Square, Peter Okoye, has responded to recent interviews in which his brother Paul stated that he was responsible for writing and singing 99% of the songs on the album.

In an open letter posted on X.com on Monday, Peter listed numerous songs he had created, including ‘Ejeajo,’ ‘Get-Squared,’ ‘Bizzy Body,’ and ‘Personally,’ which Paul had neglected to acknowledge.

Peter expressed dissatisfaction and sadness over Peter’s persistent undermining of his efforts in the.

‘My dear brother Paul,…’ was written by Peter. I am not in any kind of rivalry with you or anyone else, as I have stated numerous times. But after witnessing you grant innumerable interviews in which you consistently disparage my work in the group that Together, we both produced and built something that truly speaks.

In your recent interviews, you discredited me by claiming that our song ‘EjeaJo,’ which I composed with TI, was a failure and that you wrote and sung 99% of all P-SQUARE tracks. You even went so far as to further malign me by citing my YouTube views.

Paul was accused by Peter of always using the pronouns ‘I’ and ‘me’ in interviews, giving the impression that he was the only talented member of P-Square.
