Presidential Election: Why I, In My View, Heading To Appeal Court, Peter Obi

The Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, disclosed on Wednesday the reasons for his potential appeal to the Court of Appeal.

Obi stated he was heading to the Appeal Court over the refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,

to permit the LP to look at electoral substances used all through the presidential election.

  He disclosed this whilst lamenting over his inability to market campaign for LP governorship applicants throughout the country.  

 Obi got here 1/3 in front of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the winner, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC. 

  Following his defeat, Obi had approached the courtroom docket to contest his loss and requested to be allowed to look at substances used all through the election.

 However, Obi, in a sequence of tweets, wrote: “I am alleged to be beginning our whistle-prevent marketing campaign for our numerous Labour Party Governorship and State Assembly Candidates these days.

Initially, my ride become to take me to Nasarawa, Lagos, Enugu, Abia, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Plateau, Borno, etc. 

  “However, following INEC`s refusal to permit our birthday birthday celebration to look at the substances (which include BVAS) from the twenty fifth February presidential elections,

I am in my view, heading to the Court these days with our lawyers. 

 “As we pursue due procedure and defer to the guideline of the law, I urge all of the obedients within the numerous states to preserve campaigning for our applicants,

namely, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour in Lagos, Chijioke Edeoga in Enugu, Patrick Dakum in Plateau, Alex Otti in Abia, Ken Pela in Delta, 

 “Ibrahim Mshelia in Borno, to name only a few. It is likewise vital that respondents vote for applicants with Competence, Character, Capacity, and Compassion.

I am nonetheless devoted and could pay extra interest to the project of restoring our project. A new Nigeria is possible!”
