“Rivers first” is our motto, says Fubara.

Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared that his administration will stick to its motto of ‘Rivers First,’ which puts the needs of the people of the state first.

Fubara said this on Friday at the praise, night in Port Harcourt, which was hosted by the state government to commemorate his first year in office.

In order to advance the state, the governor asked for the people’s support through his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu.

In order to help the administration realize its goal of improving the state’s fortunes, he asked the populace to make their required contribution.

The governor prayed for God to keep improving the state and moving mountains in its path.

Fubara joyfully observed the artists, provided spiritual guidance, and made prophetic statements during the occasion.
He claimed that these were evidence of the triumph that God had predetermined for the state.

‘We can’t do it alone, but we’ll never give up on our common goal of making Rivers State our top priority. ‘At the end of this, our first term, you will see where God will take Rivers State. We need all of you, big and small, to be there for us and to chip in the little or the much you can.’

Fubara expressed her gratitude to everyone who attended, highlighting the artists for their singing and dancing talents.
They may have provided spiritual guidance, but I believe they also made prophecies that we can all relate to. ‘Amen,’ he said.

Praise and worship songs were performed during the ceremony to honor God for the first year of Fubara, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Lady Valarie Fubara, the wife of the governor, retired Justice Mary Odili, former governor Peter Odili, and Justice Simeon Amadi, the chief judge of Rivers State, were among the dignitaries present at the event.NAN
