Chinedu Okoli, a popular Nigerian highlife and pop singer also known as Flavour and Ijele, has passed away.

On Wednesday, Flavour announced his bereavement on Facebook with the message “Nnam, Papa Ijele, Rest well”.

He supplemented the post with a video showing himself playing the guitar for his father, who was in a wheelchair, much to the delight and entertainment of others around him.

Fans have taken to his comment section to express their sympathy and pray for his late father’s soul.\
