In honor of President Bola Tinubu’s 72nd birthday, Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, visited with prisoners at Kuje Prison in Abuja.
Due to the nation’s economic difficulties, Tinubu had instructed his acquaintances and advisers not to plan ostentatious celebrations in the run-up to his birthday.
March 29, 2024, was his quiet celebration date, so he had asked them to make a charitable donation.
Images of food boxes that were sent to Kuje Prison on Tijani’s behalf were made public on Saturday.
Today, on President Bola Tinubu’s birthday, my assistants gave food kits to worshippers at the Abuja National Mosque and prisoners at Kuje Prisons. It was a fulfilling demonstration of compassion and love, two qualities that are emblematic of the principles that our President upholds.
He captioned the photo, saying, “We wish President Bola Ahmed Tinubu many more years of success as he leads our great nation.”
