Tiwa Savage, a musician from Nigeria, has claimed that she just narrowly avoided a kidnapping attempt.
On Thursday, the event took place in Lagos State.
Her managers made this disclosure on Friday in a message shared on her verified Instagram profile.
The statement claims that a few individuals have been detained and are “currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.”

Savage and her family are secure, it stated.
The singer’s new driver, according to self-described investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, allegedly planned the kidnapping attempt with his accomplices.
Olunloyo said in a post on her Instagram page that the kidnappers followed the singer for days until they were apprehended and turned over to the police.
She said that Tiwa Savage’s new driver served as the kidnappers’ informant.
She advised famous people to be cautious about their domestic employees.
