With the passing of one of its most prominent directors, Reginald Ebere, the entertainment industry has lost another important top Nollywood player.
Actor and seasoned performer Segun Arinze revealed the news on Sunday on Nollywood Giants, a WhatsApp group dedicated to well-known Nigerian performers, lamenting the terrible passing of Ebere.

The depressing news was also confirmed by Perekeme Odon, National Secretary of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN).
Odon announced the director’s passing and said, ‘We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear brother and colleague, Mr. Reginald Ebere.’
Information on his funeral will be shared on the site, according to the statement.
‘Friends and colleagues at ”Ebere” have been paying, tribute to the the person who died.’
