Wizkid, a Nigerian artist known for his Afrobeats music, has declared that his sixth studio album, which he recorded in honor of his late mother Jane Morayo Balogun, will be dedicated to her.
Using a video message posted to social media on Saturday, the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker announced the news.

The record he had revealed will be released ‘very soon,’ and it was named ‘Morayo’ in honor of his mother.
‘My album, ‘Morayo,’ is dedicated to my mother, the love of my life, and it will be released very soon,’ stated Wizkid. Don’t be boring. Avoid going to bed.
The Viztadaily remembers that Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of Wizkid, passed away in London on August 18, 2023.
Losing his mother ‘hurts deeply,’ the singer remarked.
