The Nigerian gospel singer in the industry is in mourning following the death of Yemi Adeola, a prominent Ondo State-based gospel performer.
The television station Bisi Ajiboye, commonly known as Sogigun, posted about her death on his personal Facebook page on Saturday.

In his statement, Ajiboye praised the late singer as a ‘kind-hearted and beautiful soul,’ noting that he chatted with her only a week before.
He wrote, ‘Yemi Adeola was sympathetic and lovely inside and out. You didn’t say goodbye when we chatted this past weekend.
In my experience throughout the years, I’ve never seen something so surprising and tragic.’
The post, which has since gone viral, did not reveal the cause of her death.
Yemi Adeola was an evangelist and clergyman famous for Her music and performances are encouraging and uplifting.
Some of her outstanding pieces include ‘Annual Praise Concert’ and ‘My Praise to the Great Healer,’ among others.
She was from Isarun, in the Ifedore municipal government area of Ondo State.
