The order to notify Wunmi, the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad’s wife, of the impending DNA test has been authorized by the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu application by other methods.

This was stated in a statement that Vizta Daily was able to receive on Wednesday, which was signed by a member of the legal team and addressed to the Aloba family, Monisola Odumosu.

In an application that was filed, the family asked for permission to serve Wunmi by posting all of the litigation’s originating proceedings as well as other procedures on the respondent’s last-known address the legal team sent to Joseph Aloba, the late singer’s father.

Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, and discussions about his death and its circumstances went viral on social media.

Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s Marlian Music record label, departed the label in February 2022. On September 18, 2023, the commanding officer of the Lagos State Police formed a 13-person specialized investigation squad to examine into the singer’s argument death.

His murder led to the arrest of Naira Marley and controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, among other others.

On September 21, 2023, the singer’s body was dug up for an autopsy to determine the cause of his passing.
