Participating in the International Leaders Forum (ILF) in Chicago were former vice president Yemi Osinbajo and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for 2023.
Taking place in Illinois from August 19–22, the 11th ILF will be held on the grounds of the Democratic National Convention.
Annually held every four years since 1984, the conference is organized by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and brings together
prominent global politicians and policy-makers to examine a significant aspect of the American democratic system.

Obi said that he was invited ‘along with roughly two hundred other distinguished political leaders from over 91 countries, including former Heads of Governments, and two other eminent Nigerians.’
